The best subscription management apps, ranked

Last checked

Quick answer

Managing subscriptions is more than listing them: an app should find them, remind you before each charge, warn you of a price rise, help you cancel, and show you how to pay less. On those jobs, for someone in the UAE, Rasid ranks first: it finds subscriptions in Gmail and card statements, reminds you three days before each charge, shows a price rise before it starts, and compares what you pay with the same service's yearly plan, a smaller plan, bundles and rivals. We make Rasid, so read the ranking with that in mind. Rocket Money does the most for cancelling and bill negotiation, but works only with US banks. For a plain tracker see the best subscription tracker apps, and for UAE-only detail see the UAE guide.

Shared use and bank login. Rasid has Personal, Family and Work spaces and never asks for a bank login. SubTracker's Family plan takes up to 10 members, and it never links to your bank. Bucket has a household view and describes no bank connection. Rocket Money needs a US bank link and does not state shared use. Malii and Subo say they do not connect to your bank. Orbit imports files you choose and states no bank link. Kamm and Bobby describe no bank link, and Kamm, Malii, Orbit, Subo and Bobby state no shared use.

Each row is from the app's own website, help centre or App Store listing: Rocket Money, Bucket, SubTracker, Kamm, Malii, Orbit, Subo and Bobby were read on 27 October 2026, with earlier reads of Subo and Orbit on 21 October. "Not stated" means its pages do not say. Prices are in the currency each company prints, never converted. Rasid's row is our own app.

How we ranked them

One question: how much of the work of managing subscriptions does one app do for a household in the UAE? Six jobs and one test, in this order of weight:

  1. Finds subscriptions for you. You do not have to remember each one.
  2. Reminds before a charge. Before the money leaves, not after.
  3. Warns of a price rise. Before the new price applies.
  4. Helps you cancel. Cancels for you, or shows you how.
  5. Better deals. Does it tell you how to pay less for what you already have: the yearly plan, a smaller plan, a bundle, a cheaper rival in the same category, or a negotiated bill?
  6. Shared use. Can a household or a team use it?
  7. UAE fit (the test). Does it work with a UAE bank or no bank at all, and name UAE providers, AED and Arabic? An app that cannot be used here cannot rank above one that can.

A bank login is not a job; it is shown because it decides where an app works. Rocket Money does more than any app here on jobs 4 and 5, and ranks second only because of test 7.

Three ways apps manage subscriptions

Rocket Money reads your card transactions through a bank link, finds recurring charges and, on Premium, cancels and negotiates for you. Its help centre says it is "only available to users located within the United States and with U.S. based banks". See Rocket Money alternatives outside the US.

They read your billing email or statements

Rasid reads Gmail for billing mail and card statements from seven UAE banks. Orbit imports screenshots, CSV and statement files you choose. Neither needs a bank login. Neither can see a charge that never sent an email or appears in a file.

You add them yourself

SubTracker, Kamm, Malii, Subo and Bobby work from what you enter, and Bucket from the biller account numbers you add. They are the most private and work anywhere, but they only know what you remember to add.

The apps one by one

1. Rasid

Finds subscriptions and household bills in Gmail with read-only access and no bank login, and you confirm each find before it is tracked. In the UAE it also reads DEWA, SEWA, TAQA Distribution, Empower, du and e& bills and card statements from seven UAE banks. It reminds you three days before a renewal or due date and shows a price rise, with the day it starts, when the provider, Apple or Google Play emails it.

Recommendations: the Discover tab compares what you pay with the same service's yearly plan, a smaller plan or a bundle, and with real rivals in the same category, using prices read on the providers' own UAE pages. It is like-for-like only, so it never suggests swapping a music app for a film app, and each suggestion names the plan and the price it comes from. Subscriptions can sit in Personal, Family or Work spaces.

  • Best for: finding subscriptions, UAE bills and ways to pay less, in one list.
  • Less good for: cancelling: it does not cancel for you. It is iPhone only, in early access with a waitlist, and full Arabic support is not stated.

2. Rocket Money

Links your US bank accounts and finds recurring charges. Its Premium plan lists a Subscription Cancellation Assistant, and its concierge negotiates bills for you.

  • Best for: people in the US who want cancelling, bill negotiation and budgeting in one app.
  • Less good for: anyone outside the US: it works only with US banks.

3. Bucket

Rasid vs Bucket, in detail.

A UAE app that fetches bills by account number, names Netflix and Spotify, flags duplicate subscriptions and price jumps, and pays bills in the app. It has a household view, works on iPhone and Android, and has Arabic.

  • Best for: UAE bills and a few named subscriptions, with payment in the app.
  • Less good for: subscriptions beyond the ones it names, and reminders before a charge, which its page does not state.

4. SubTracker

Rasid vs SubTracker, in detail.

A subscription tracker that runs in a browser and installs on a phone, with 180+ services, calendar sync and CSV or JSON export. Plus is USD 5.90 a month or USD 49 a year and holds the reminders and price-hike alerts; Family is USD 9.90 a month or USD 79 a year, for up to 10 members.

  • Best for: a hand-kept list on any device, for a family or several countries.
  • Less good for: UAE fit: AED, Arabic and UAE bills are not stated.

5. Kamm

Rasid vs Kamm, in detail.

  • Best for: a private Arabic and English list.
  • Less good for: finding, price alerts and deals: its pages do not state them.

6. Malii

Rasid vs Malii, in detail.

A budget app for iPhone, iPad and Mac that tracks recurring payments and reminds you before the money leaves. Arabic and English; Premium is AED 19.99 a month or AED 199.99 a year, and the free plan holds three recurring payments.

  • Best for: a private budget with subscriptions in it.
  • Less good for: more than three subscriptions on the free plan.

7. Orbit

Rasid vs Orbit, in detail.

An iPhone tracker that adds subscriptions from screenshots, CSV and bank statement files, alerts you before free trials convert and before renewals, and keeps everything on your device. Orbit Plus is from AED 25.99 on the UAE App Store.

  • Best for: importing a statement file without linking a bank.
  • Less good for: Arabic and Android: it lists neither.

8. Subo

Rasid vs Subo, in detail.

A calm list for iPhone, iPad and Mac with reminders, widgets and iCloud sync. Free for up to 6 subscriptions; paid plans are a one-time Forever Pass or a prepaid year, and nothing renews automatically.

  • Best for: a private list across Apple devices.
  • Less good for: finding subscriptions: its pages describe manual tracking.

9. Bobby

A simple iPhone list: choose from hundreds of services or add your own, and it notifies you when a bill is due. Free, with in-app purchases from USD 0.99. See Bobby alternatives.

  • Best for: the simplest list.
  • Less good for: anything beyond a list: its listing states no price alerts, cancelling or deals.

  • You want to pay UAE bills in the same app: Bucket.
  • You want a private list in Arabic: Kamm or Malii.
  • You share subscriptions with a family: SubTracker Family, or a Rasid Family space.

FAQ

What is the best subscription management app?

It depends on the jobs you want done. For finding subscriptions, reminders, price-rise alerts and ways to pay less in the UAE, Rasid. For cancelling and negotiating bills in the US, Rocket Money. Both are ranked above, with the criteria.

What is the difference between a subscription manager and a tracker?

A tracker lists subscriptions and reminds you. A manager also helps you act: find the ones you forgot, see price rises, cancel or switch to a cheaper plan. See the best subscription tracker apps for the list-first view.

Which subscription management app finds better deals?

Rasid's Discover compares what you pay with the same service's yearly plan, a smaller plan, bundles and rivals in the same category, from providers' own UAE prices. Rocket Money's page says it negotiates bills in the US. Bucket flags duplicates. The other apps' pages do not say.

Is there a subscription manager app in the UAE?

Yes. Rasid, Bucket, Kamm and Malii are made for UAE households; Rocket Money does not work here. See the UAE guide.

Can an app cancel my subscriptions?

Rocket Money's Premium plan can, in the US. None of the other apps here cancel for you. Rasid and SubTracker remind you before a renewal or a free trial ends.

Only for Rocket Money. The others work from email, files or what you enter.
