How to check your du bill

• The amount you owe: on the main page of the du app, on the My Account dashboard, or by sending an SMS with the word "Bill" to 1233 (du, How can I check my outstanding bill?).
• The full bill: du emails an ebill to your registered address each month, and you can view and download your bills in the du app or My Account, or get one at a du store (du, When and where can I get my bill?).

To download a bill in the du app (du, When and where can I get my bill?):

1. Log in with UAE PASS or your du app details. du says logging in with a one-time code limits some features.
2. Tap Bill history on the main page.
3. Tap View latest bill, or choose an earlier month from the list at the bottom.

The itemised bill downloads as a PDF.

How to pay your du bill

du lists these ways to pay (du, Ways to Pay; du, How can I pay my bill?):

• Quick Pay, without logging in. Enter your mobile or account number. du's Quick Pay page says all GCC and UAE issued Mastercard and Visa cards are accepted (du, Quick Pay).
• The du app, by card, with Apple Pay for iPhone users, once or as an automatic payment.
• My Account on du's website, by card, once or as an automatic payment.
• The Dubai Now app.
• Your bank: ATM cash deposit, self-service kiosk, online, phone or mobile banking, depending on the bank.
• Exchange houses, by card or cash.
• Bank transfer to du's account. Include your du account number, which du says is mandatory, and the invoice reference.
• By phone. For a mobile bill, call 155 and choose option 1. For a home services bill, call 04 390 5555, choose option 2, then option 1.
• du Express stores and payment kiosks.

Allow five business days for a payment by bank transfer, mail or drop box to reach your account (du, Ways to Pay).

What's on a du bill

du's itemised bill, downloadable as a PDF from the du app, breaks down your charges (du, When and where can I get my bill?). du generates the bill about eight days after your bill cycle date, and emails a copy when it is ready (du, When and where can I get my bill?).

Your du credit limit counts everything on the account, billed and not yet billed, across postpaid mobile and home lines. A new line starts with a default credit limit of AED 675 (du, Credit Limit).

When is a du bill due

What du says about paying on time (du, Ways to Pay; du, Credit Limit):

• If you register a credit card for automatic payments, du takes the payment 15 days after the bill date shown at the top of your bill.
• If a payment is late, your services are interrupted, even if you have not reached your credit limit.
• If your total balance, billed plus unbilled, reaches 100% of your credit limit, services are interrupted even before the due date. du sends an SMS at 80%, 95% and 100% of the limit.

Why your du bill went up

• Out-of-bundle usage and third-party subscriptions. du counts both, along with any other applicable charges, in your account balance (du, Credit Limit).
• Charges from more than one line. One account can hold postpaid mobile and home (fixed) services, and du's credit limit covers them together (du, Credit Limit).

Get a reminder before your du bill is due

Rasid is an app that keeps household bills and subscriptions in one place. For du it can:

• Track the bill. Add du by hand from Rasid's list of UAE providers, or connect Gmail with read-only access. Rasid then looks for the bills du emails you and reads the amount and, when the email shows it, the due date.
• Remind you before it's due. For a bill with a due date, Rasid sends a reminder three days before, at 10:00.
• Show what changed. Once Rasid has more than one du bill, the bill's screen shows recent bills side by side, the average, and how much more or less this bill is than the last.
• Send you to du to pay. If the payment link in a du email can be confirmed as du's own, the bill shows a Pay button that opens du's page. You can also mark the bill as paid.

Rasid does not pay bills. You pay du directly, through du's own channels. Rasid's Gmail access is read-only, so it cannot send, delete or change your email.
