Rocket Money alternatives for the UAE

Last checked

Quick answer

Rocket Money's help centre says it is only available to users in the United States with US-based banks, and its app isn't on the UAE App Store. In the UAE, Rasid finds subscriptions and bills from Gmail without a bank login, SubTracker is a free manual tracker in your browser, and Flowdue tracks bills and splits costs on iPhone.

Why Rocket Money doesn't work in the UAE

Rocket Money is built on linked bank accounts. You connect checking, savings, credit card and investment accounts, and it finds recurring charges in your transactions. That connection is what the rest of the app depends on, and it is US-only:

  • Its help centre says Rocket Money "is only available to users located within the United States" with US-based banks.
  • Its terms of service, effective 2 October 2026, say the services are intended only for users in the United States.
  • On 16 October 2026, Apple's lookup returned Rocket Money on the US App Store and not on the UAE one.

So the question for someone in Dubai or Abu Dhabi isn't whether Rocket Money is good. It is what does the same job with what you have here.

What Rocket Money does well

It is fair to say what you would be giving up. Rocket Money:

  • finds subscriptions and bills automatically from linked US accounts;
  • offers Premium members a Subscription Cancellation Assistant that cancels supported subscriptions for them;
  • has a concierge that negotiates some bills on your behalf;
  • adds budgets, balance alerts, credit score and net worth tracking;
  • holds a 4.47 rating from 399,229 ratings on the US App Store, and its home page says it has 10 million+ members.

Rasid

Rasid is a bill and subscription tracker app for the UAE. Connect Gmail and it searches only for billing mail: receipts, invoices, statements and price notices. It works out the amount, the date and the provider, and you confirm each one before it's tracked. It also reads DEWA, SEWA, TAQA Distribution, Empower, du and Etisalat (e&) bills from their emails, and card statements from seven UAE banks.

  • Good for: a UAE household whose subscriptions and bills arrive by email, and anyone who won't give an app a bank login.
  • Less good for: budgeting, net worth or Android today. Rasid is iPhone first and doesn't cancel or negotiate for you.

SubTracker

SubTracker, from Innopulse Consulting GmbH in Zug, Switzerland, is a manual tracker that runs in your browser and installs on a phone without an app store. Its free plan tracks unlimited subscriptions, imports a list from CSV and syncs renewals to your calendar. It has a UAE guide that is candid about manual tracking's trade-offs.

  • Good for: someone with subscriptions in several countries and currencies who is happy to type them in once.
  • Less good for: finding subscriptions you've forgotten. SubTracker says itself that it cannot find a subscription you did not enter. Renewal reminders and price-hike alerts are on Plus.

Flowdue

Flowdue is an iPhone app for bills, subscriptions and day-to-day spending, with free bill splitting. It tracks cheques, retainers and invoices, plans a budget around your payday and scans a bill on your phone to fill in the details.

  • Good for: sharing costs with flatmates or family, and anyone who pays rent or bills by cheque.
  • Less good for: automatic discovery: you add each due yourself. It is new, released in May 2026, with one rating on the UAE App Store so far.

How to choose

  • You want subscriptions found for you, without a bank login: Rasid.
  • You want a free list you keep yourself, on any device: SubTracker.
  • You split costs with others or track cheques: Flowdue.
  • You live in the US and bank in the US: Rocket Money is built for you.
