Rasid vs Bucket

Quick answer

Bucket (bucket.ae) is a UAE app for bills: you add a biller with your account number, it fetches each bill, and you approve payment with one tap or let auto-pay settle it. Rasid is an iPhone app that finds DEWA, du and e& bills, instalments and subscriptions in Gmail and card statements, and reminds you before they are due. Rasid never pays. Choose Bucket if you want to pay inside the app, Rasid if you want a calm reminder across bills and subscriptions without handing over payments.

The short version

Both are made for the UAE and both are free to start. They begin from different places. Bucket starts from your biller accounts and signs you in with UAE PASS or a phone number (1)(2). Rasid starts from the billing mail and statements you already receive. Everything below about Bucket comes from bucket.ae, its privacy policy and its terms, opened on 27 October 2026. How each one gets your bills

Bucket needs the account number from each biller. After that it fetches the bill automatically, so nothing depends on an email arriving, and it can pay the bill for you. Its page says "No screenshots, no forwarded emails" (1).

Rasid needs no account numbers. With your permission it searches Gmail, read-only, for the bills and subscription mail already there, and every find shows the email it came from. It keeps the figures, not the subject or body. No Gmail? A spreadsheet, a PDF statement, a screenshot or typing it in work too.

Paying and trust

Bucket pays bills through licensed payment partners and is not a bank (3); its page describes a Face ID lock that covers payments (1). Rasid does not pay, link a bank or cancel for you; its Pay bill button only opens the provider's own payment page, and only when Rasid can confirm the link. That is a real difference in what you hand over. If you want one app that settles the bill, Bucket does. If you prefer to pay where you already do and only be reminded, Rasid does.

Where Bucket is the better choice

  • You want to pay in the same app. Bucket approves and settles payments, including auto-pay. Rasid does not.
  • You want bills fetched without email. Add an account number once; no Gmail needed.
  • You want Arabic and Android. Its page says Arabic, and the app is offered for iPhone and Android (1). Rasid is iPhone only.
  • You want your data kept in the UAE. Its privacy policy states the goal of keeping UAE users' data within the UAE region (2).

Where Rasid is the better choice

  • Your money leaves through cards and subscriptions too. Rasid reads card statements from seven UAE banks, instalment plans and subscription mail, not only utilities.
  • You prefer to stay in control of payment. Rasid reminds you with the exact amount and date; you pay where you normally do.
  • You do not want to share account numbers or sign in with UAE PASS. Rasid works from Gmail or files.
  • You want yearly plans and UAE prices compared. Discover compares what you pay with the same service's yearly plan, bundles and rivals, from providers' own prices.

Which one to pick

  • Pick Bucket if you want UAE bills fetched by account number and paid in one place, and you are happy to sign in with UAE PASS.
  • Pick Rasid if you want bills, instalments and subscriptions found from mail and statements, and reminded, with payment staying with you.
  • Their jobs overlap on bill tracking, so most households will want one of the two.

What we couldn't confirm

  • Bucket's App Store and Google Play listings: its page links only to an in-page anchor, so we could not read ratings, version, release date or store privacy labels.
  • How many billers it supports: the page says "80+" in one place and shows "0+" in its stats bar.
  • Whether it sends a reminder before a due date, and how many days before.
  • Which entity operates Bucket, and which payment partner it uses.
  • Whether it connects to a bank. The page does not mention one.
