How to find all your subscriptions
Last checked
Quick answer
Check the places that bill for other companies: your Apple account, Google Play, PayPal and Amazon. Then read your card statement for repeating charges, and search your email for receipts and renewal notices to catch the rest. Most companies email a receipt each time they charge you, so your inbox holds the longest list.
Where subscriptions hide
| Place | What it shows | Where to look |
|---|---|---|
| Apple | Subscriptions you pay through the App Store | iPhone, iPad or Mac |
| Google Play | Subscriptions you pay through Google Play | Google Play |
| PayPal | Businesses you've allowed to charge you automatically | PayPal |
| Amazon | Prime and the other memberships Amazon bills | Amazon |
| Your card statement | Every charge on the card, whoever bills it | Card statement |
| Your email | Receipts, invoices and renewal notices from any company |
On iPhone, iPad or Mac
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
The list shows what Apple bills you for. On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, click your name again, then Subscriptions.
Apple's page adds:
- Not in the list? Search your email for "receipt from Apple" or "invoice from Apple", and check which Apple Account the receipt names.
- No Apple receipt? Another company bills you. Check your card statement and contact that company.
- Family Sharing: a family member's subscription shows only on their own account.
In Google Play
On an Android phone: open your subscriptions in Google Play.
On a computer: go to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
If one you expect is missing, Google's page says it may be on a different Google account.
In PayPal
- On the PayPal website, go to Settings.
- Click Payments.
- Select Subscriptions and saved businesses or Automatic Payments.
Each business you've allowed to charge you automatically is listed, with its contact details.
On Amazon
Go to Your Memberships and Subscriptions (amazon.com/yourmembershipsandsubscriptions). It lists active, cancelled and expired subscriptions, with each renewal date and price.
On your card statement
Look for the same company charging you every month or every year, and for small charges you don't recognise. The US Federal Trade Commission advises watching your card statements for charges that keep coming after you cancel. If a company keeps charging after you've asked it to stop, dispute the charge with your card issuer.
In your email
Most companies email a receipt each time they charge you, so your inbox catches what the other lists miss: subscriptions you pay by card on a company's own website, and yearly ones you forgot.

FAQ
How do I find all my subscriptions?
Check your Apple account, Google Play, PayPal and Amazon, then your card statement, then search your email for receipts and renewal notices. Most subscriptions show up in at least one of those places.
How do I see my subscriptions on iPhone?
Open Settings, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. It lists what Apple bills you for. Subscriptions you pay on a company's own website are not there; find those on your card statement or in your email.
How do I find subscriptions in Gmail?
In Gmail's search box, try subject:(receipt OR renewal) newer_than:1y, or category:purchases. Each receipt names the company and the amount.
Why can't I find a subscription that charges me?
It is probably billed by someone else: Apple, Google Play, PayPal, Amazon, or your phone company. Apple's page says that if there's no Apple receipt, check your bank or card statement to see which company bills you, and contact that company.
How do I cancel a subscription once I find it?
Cancel with whoever bills you. See how to cancel subscriptions for Apple, Google Play, PayPal, Amazon and the big services.
