Quick answer
To view and pay an EtihadWE bill without logging in, open View and Pay on EtihadWE's website and enter your account number. You can also pay in the EtihadWE app, in its e-services portal with UAE PASS, at payment machines and service centres, or through online banking. Rasid, a separate app, can remind you before it's due.
Who EtihadWE serves
Etihad Water and Electricity (EtihadWE) supplies electricity and water in the Northern Emirates. Its website lists the areas it covers as Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Umm Al Quwain, Al Dhaid and Dibba Al Fujairah (EtihadWE, About).
EtihadWE was established in 2020 under Federal Decree-Law No. 31 and builds on the legacy of the Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA). It is wholly owned by the Emirates Investment Authority (EtihadWE, About).
How to view and pay your EtihadWE bill
EtihadWE's Bill payment service shows the amount due on your monthly invoice and lets you pay it (EtihadWE, Bill payment):
- Without logging in: on EtihadWE's website, go to Services, then View and Pay. Enter your account number, choose a payment option, agree to the terms and pay by card.
- E-services portal: click Login, choose Customer and sign in with UAE PASS. Pick the account and select Pay Now.
- The EtihadWE app: log in with UAE PASS or use the payment option without logging in, choose the account and pay. EtihadWE's website links to the app on the App Store and Google Play.
- Payment machines (kiosks) and service centres, which EtihadWE lists as channels for the same service.
- Online banking: EtihadWE says bank account holders can pay their bills through their bank's online banking (EtihadWE, Banks).
For card payments online, EtihadWE asks for a valid card and email address and sets these limits (EtihadWE, Bill payment):
- The most you can pay by credit card is AED 10,000.
- Only credit cards issued in the GCC are accepted.
- A card can be used for up to 5 transactions a day.
Paying other amounts in instalments
EtihadWE's Direct Debit service lets you pay amounts such as fines, connection fees and other financial adjustments in instalments. You apply on the website or app with UAE PASS, enter your account number and bank details, and choose a plan from the instalment table. EtihadWE charges AED 100 for connection fees on commercial and industrial accounts after the request is approved (EtihadWE, Direct Debit).
EtihadWE tariff
EtihadWE publishes its electricity and water rates by type of customer (EtihadWE, Tariff). The residential rates:

Homes of UAE citizens pay a single rate of 7.5 fils per kWh, with no surcharge listed.
| Monthly use | Rate (AED) | Old rate (fils) |

- Permanent disconnection: AED 100 for each meter.
For help with a bill, EtihadWE gives its email, cs@etihadwe.ae, and its number, 800 3392 (EtihadWE, Bill payment).
Get a reminder before your EtihadWE bill is due
Rasid is an app that keeps household bills and subscriptions in one place. For EtihadWE it can:
- Track the bill. Add EtihadWE by hand from Rasid's list of UAE providers, or connect Gmail with read-only access. Rasid then looks for the bills EtihadWE emails you, from its current and its former FEWA address, and reads the amount and, when the email shows it, the due date.
- Remind you before it's due. For a bill with a due date, Rasid sends a reminder three days before, at 10:00.
- Show what changed. Once Rasid has more than one EtihadWE bill, the bill's screen shows recent bills side by side, the average, and how much more or less this bill is than the last.
- Send you to EtihadWE to pay. If the payment link in an EtihadWE email can be confirmed as EtihadWE's own, the bill shows a Pay button that opens EtihadWE's page. You can also mark the bill as paid.
Rasid does not pay bills. You pay EtihadWE directly, through EtihadWE's own channels. Rasid's Gmail access is read-only, so it cannot send, delete or change your email.
