How to cancel Storytel in the UAE

Cancel Storytel where you pay for it: with Storytel, or with Apple or Google Play. The steps below were checked on support.storytel.com on 20 October 2026.

Steps

  1. Started on the Storytel website? Log in to your account page.
  2. Click Subscription, then Cancel under your current plan, and confirm.
  3. You see a confirmation on the website and get an email. Keep it.
  4. Started in the app? Apple or Google bills you. On iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Storytel, then Cancel Subscription. On Android: in Google Play, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions, Storytel and Cancel subscription.
  5. Not sure? On your account page, look under Payments. App Store or Google Play Store there means the app store bills you.
  6. If you paid for the current period, you can use Storytel until it ends. A free trial started on the website ends as soon as you cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel.
