How to cancel Microsoft 365 in the UAE

Quick answer

Cancel Microsoft 365 where you pay for it: with Microsoft, or with the store that bills you. The steps below were checked on support.microsoft.com on 20 October 2026.

Steps

  1. Go to account.microsoft.com/services/microsoft365, and sign in with the Microsoft account you bought it with.
  2. Select Cancel subscription. It might say Upgrade or Cancel.
  3. Read the Please review section, then at the bottom select I don't want my subscription.
  4. See Turn on recurring billing instead of a cancel option? It is already set to end on the date shown, and you are not charged after that.
  5. Bought it through Google Play, the App Store or a shop such as Amazon? Cancel with them.
  6. Not every cancellation gets a refund. You see whether yours does after you cancel.
  7. Your storage drops to 5GB of cloud storage and 15GB of Outlook.com storage. Over that, you cannot upload or sync new files to OneDrive, or send and receive Outlook.com email. On Family or Premium, everyone you share with loses the extra storage too.
