How to cancel Dropbox in the UAE

Cancel Dropbox where you pay for it: with Dropbox, or with your app store. The steps below were checked on help.dropbox.com on 20 October 2026.

Steps

  1. Log in to dropbox.com. Click your avatar in the bottom-left corner, then Manage account.
  2. Click Cancel plan at the bottom of the page.
  3. Select a reason, then click Continue canceling or Confirm change and follow the prompts. You get an email confirmation.
  4. No Cancel plan? You may have bought Dropbox on your phone or tablet: cancel in your device's app store.
  5. Your account changes to Dropbox Basic, with 2 GB of storage, at the end of the billing cycle, and you are not charged again. Over 2 GB, you may not be able to sync, upload or share files.
  6. Deleting the Dropbox app does not cancel your plan.
