How to cancel ChatGPT in the UAE

Cancel ChatGPT where you pay for it: with ChatGPT, or with Apple or Google Play if they bill you. The steps below were checked on help.openai.com on 19 October 2026.

Steps

  1. Sign in to ChatGPT on chatgpt.com.
  2. Open your account menu and select Settings.
  3. Select Billing, then under Cancel plan, select Cancel.
  4. Subscribed in the iPhone app? Apple bills you: in Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, ChatGPT and Cancel Subscription.
  5. Subscribed through Google Play? In the Play Store app, open Subscriptions, select ChatGPT, then Cancel subscription.
  6. Cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing date to avoid the next charge.
  7. Paid features stay until the end of the billing period. Cancelling does not refund earlier charges, and uninstalling the app does not cancel.
